Baby's size: Winter Melon [19.13 in., 6.3 lb.]
How far along: 37 Weeks
Sleep: I can't even remember what it's like to sleep through the night, I guess its good practice for when she actually gets here and I have to feed her every 2 hours!
Maternity Clothes: Nothing fits. The bottom of my belly hangs out of even my maternity shirts, not a cute look.
Food cravings: Things that take little effort to make.
Food aversions: Nothing.
Symptoms I HAVE: Contractions are much stronger and are now in my back and hips. Sore hips and lower back.
Doctor’s Appointment: I'm now dilated 2 cm and 70% effaced! Yay progress. She's also dropped pretty much all the way and has her head pressed against my cervix. All good signs that she's ready to come meet us!
Movement: She's really slowed down this week, not much room left for her to do anything crazy. The most she does is move her little butt from one side of my belly to the other.
Belly Button: Confused. Not really in and not really out.
Gender: GIRL!
Best moment of the week: Hearing that she's in the position that she should be and that my body is preparing for labor. Also the fact that we made it to 37 weeks, which is full-term!
What I’m looking forward to: Getting this baby out! I am so ready to hold her in my arms.
What I miss: Being able to lay on my back and my belly. Being able to put my own shoes on. Being able to get up without being pushed. I'm tired of being huge!

It's crazy that you get to a point where even maternity clothes don't fit! I had the same problem. Yay that you made it full term!
ReplyDeleteYay, congrats! I definitely missed sleeping on my stomach and being able to bend over the most when I was pregnant. You're almost there, mama!
